Carlos and I are in Stockhom this weekend! We have a longer weekend since today is a national holiday in Denmark and for UN staff... perfect for a mini getaway (especially when there are so cheap train tickets)! Saturday was spent relaxing down town, Carlos was nice to follow me around looking in some stores, I got new running shoes (now i'm definitely ready for the marathon in 2 weeks), then we enjoyed an awesome brunch at Café Egoiste in the Mood Galleria. In the evening we met us with some friends to have dinner and watch the Eurovision... funny enough Denmark won this year.
Yesterday, we went to Uppsala for the day to see a good friend of mine and my cousin. Carlos also git a mini-sightseeing tour of the old church and other typical Uppsala things. Great times catching up with friends and family! :) Now, we're off to lunch in a 20 degrees and sunny capital! :)
