I really hope this is true! This week has been full of chaos. It all started Monday when Carlos heard that his Master's thesis defenee may be cancelled due to sickness. Then, when I arrived back home one of our framed pictures, Carlos' family photo from Bates at graduation had mysterioulsy just fallen to the floor (still have no idea of how that could happen since it's on a shelf with 7 other pictures and just this one had crached down). Perhaps a clear sign of "a crashed degree", haha! Then Tuesday morning Carlos found out that his Master's defense was cancelled! Therefore, my family who was supposed to come for this event had to cancel their flight and all plans were changed last minute. Maybe it's not a good idea to schedule a thesis defense on the 13th at 13.00 in year 2013, haha! If that was not enough chaos, we've had a big blizzard today and I started the morning by crashing with the bike since people are stupid enough to walk in the biking lanes and not move or gets out of the way when they see people comming on bikes. Not good since breaking quickly on bikes in snow is not so good... the bikes slips and you fall. Stupid people, MOVE!!! However, I barely got a scratch so I'm happy for that, just more annoyed over the people and the bad start of the morning...
On the good news, it can all just be better! Yesterday I also got the news that I have a short-term contract! Happiness!!! So perhaps there has to be some chaos before good changes come! :)
