I'm finally back in Copenhagen after spending a bit more than a week at home recovering. I was lucky to go be able to go in a car down so i could set with the leg straight and not have to squeeze in and try to fit in the flight seat. :) I'm not sure what the doctor had in mind when he said 4-5 days on crutches??!! I'm still swollen and the muscles around the knee is definitely not recovered and i can only bend the leg 90 degrees, and it's now 2 weeks after surgery. Maybe the doctor is tricking the patiens so they are more positive about the surgery... Hahahaha! Despite the knee life is pretty ok, i can jump up the 4 flats of stairs and i manage a pretty normal life after all, if you disregard the looks of people when i come walking on the crutches... Hm!
Life has also been pretty busy since i arrived. I'm catching up with classes, preparing CEMS application, looking for housing and just fixing all the stuff that comes with now having a cpr-number (insurances, bank account, cell phones etc). Fun! Ahhh! Hopefully it will all be under control by the end on the weekend. I know what my weekend will be all about - studies and rehab!
