I don't know what i've gotten myself into... studying french will be a challenge! I find myself reading and being ready to discuss the world's ecenomic situation in french, how the US economy differ from China's and how the scandinavian countries are doing compared to other european countries. We're also reading articles about capitalism, emerging markets and the role of instituations. Ahhh! If that wasn't enough, i will have to speak french for 25 min and discussing all of this, tying it together, plus you're expected to be fluent in the language. Sigh! I think i'm also the only one in the class who have spent a semester abroad or lived in a french speaking country. Weee... My first french class is tomorrow morning, we'll see how it goes.
