When normal, untrained people are confronted by fatigue signals, they do the sane thing: They slow down or stop and thereby protect their untrainde, sometimes fragile bodies. Your muscle are tired and you hurt, so you ease up, stop, take a rest and have a cold drink.
However if you listen to fatigue signals and interpret them in the same way as untrained people, you will fall short of your goals and potential almost all the time. You can't achieve high-level goals by acting like a normal, untrained person. You have to move beyond sanity to a higher level. Some people call it insanity - high-level insanity!
Läste precis det här i "Psyching for Sport" som jag måste läsa för sport psychology.
You have move beyond sanity to a higher level - That's me!!!!! : P i ett litet nötskal... träningsnörd!
